The same 1,000 tokens, three results
Chaturbate pays broadcasters 0.05 USD per token. Say viewers tip you 1,000 tokens in an evening.
On your own, you get 50 USD. In a studio that keeps 50 percent, you get 25 USD. In a studio that keeps 70 percent, you get 15 USD. Same evening, same viewers, same work.
This only shows how the money is split. It is not a promise of income. How many tokens you earn depends on you, your schedule and luck. Slow first weeks are normal.

I do not understand the tech
To start, you need a phone with a good camera or a laptop, a lamp or a cheap ring light, and stable internet. That is enough. The site runs in a browser. You can add fancy software later, or never.
My English is weak
Most of the chat is short phrases. For the first months you can get by with a translator app in a second window, a list of ready phrases and a tip menu that speaks for you. Many rooms run in other languages too.
Nobody will find me without a studio
Studios do not bring the viewers. Viewers come from the site itself, and the site shows new models more at the start. Regulars come back for a steady schedule, not for a studio logo.
I have no place to work
This is the one real reason to think about a studio. If you can get a room with a door that locks for a few hours, you have a place to work. If you cannot, read the next section.
Someone I know will see me
You can block whole countries and regions, including your home country and the one you live in. You also use a stage name. But be honest with yourself: recordings can leak on any site, and a studio does not protect you from that.
How will I get paid here?

I am scared to deal with rude viewers alone
You have a ban button, moderation tools and the right to end any show. Before your first stream, write your limits down on paper. In a studio, the pressure to cross them is often higher, not lower.
When a studio can still make sense
A studio can be a fair choice in a few cases: you have no private space at all, you have no device, or you want someone next to you for the first weeks.
If you go, go with your eyes open. Ask who owns the account and what the cut is. Ask about fines, a minimum term and an exit fee. Get the answers in writing. Never hand over your passport or your login.
This may not be for you
Camming is real work, and the downsides are real too. At the start your income goes up and down. It can be hard emotionally, and people may judge you. There is always a risk that your content leaks.
